Hi, I'm Renee.
I am a warm, personable therapist who sees the unique value and worth in each client I have the honor to work with. I have known since high school that being a therapist was where my heart was — my calling. Here I am years later, doing what I love.
Why this works
I am a fellow human, and I have walked through life challenges similar to yours — knowing firsthand more than the clinical definitions of grief, fear, and trauma. I know the texture. That lived experience is part of why I can sit with clients in the middle of their pain with empathy, and why I believe there is hope in the midst of trauma and the struggles we encounter.
I have a genuine love for people and an ability to accept others exactly where and for who they are. I like to partner with clients to impart hope that their life challenges and stumbling blocks can become stepping stones. I am not an outsider looking in; I am a fellow traveler who has learned some of the terrain.
Practicing since 2007, nearly two decades of that work has been in behavioral health — as an inpatient and outpatient therapist, as Director of multiple clinical programs both for‑profit and non‑profits, and as an individual therapist. That range means I have seen the effects of mental illness, family conflict, life transitions, and traumatic experience across every age, from the very young to 99+.
“I believe life’s challenges can often become stepping stones when an environment of support and a pathway to healing and growth is in front of you.”

How I think about therapy
You are the expert on your life
Every client deserves a supportive, non‑judgmental room to express their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Given the right support, guidance, and education, people reach their own conclusions — my role is to facilitate healing, respecting you as the authority of your life.
One size does not fit all
Meeting clients where they are and providing interventions according to your specific needs and comfort level. Sessions are tailored to you as a unique individual.
You define your trauma
It is my desire to be sensitive to each client’s specific presentation and to value what you define as trauma and life stressors, while always providing an atmosphere of acceptance, respect, and safety.
I would be honored to hear from you.
Tell me a little of what brings you to this first step in your healing.
