Turning life's challenges into stepping stones.

Individual therapy with Renee A. Romine, LCSW‑S — a warm, non‑judgmental space for trauma, anxiety, depression, and the seasons of life that ask more of us than we thought we had.

Stepping stones crossing a shallow creek

It takes great courage to begin the search for a therapist. Take a moment to pause, take a deep breath, and acknowledge the success in this first step toward healing.

We all need support from time to time. Life asks more of us than one can hold alone.

Welcome

Renee A. Romine, LCSW‑S

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker – Supervisor, which simply means I am a Master's level social worker with advanced training suited to help individuals and families navigate some of life's real struggles. My philosophy is that our challenges can be seen as stumbling blocks or stepping stones — I partner with my clients to achieve the latter.

I have walked through hard seasons of my own, and I bring that understanding into the room. My standard for myself is to provide a safe, non‑judgmental environment and a listening ear — a place where healing is fostered and a brighter future begins.

Who I work with

Adolescents to 99 — with particular care for those carrying trauma.

Trauma survivors

Trauma lies to us. Together we work to loosen the negative beliefs it left behind and build a more accurate view of yourself and the world. You define what your trauma is — that is never my job.

Teens & young adults

Navigating unfamiliar waters — identity, relationships, boundaries, assertiveness, academic and social pressure — with practical life skills and a steady adult in your corner.

Adults & seniors

Anxiety, depression, grief, family conflict, career change, and the transitions that arrive whether or not we are ready for them.

Veterans & survivors of abuse

Partnering with veterans and survivors of domestic violence and abuse to reduce the symptoms of PTSD and to find footing again.

What working together looks like

No pressure. One short form is all it takes to start.
